Great with clients. Strong in digital.
And above all: someone who brings the two together.
We're looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager who helps define where our clients need to go digitally - and then helps them get there.
You don't need to build websites yourself or be the biggest specialist in every digital channel. But you do need to understand how everything works together. From websites and webshops to campaigns, SEO, SEA, GEO, analytics and performance.
Because for us, digital isn't about using as many tools or channels as possible. It's about knowing what you want to achieve, making it measurable, understanding the results and continuously improving.
About the role
As Digital Account Manager, you're an important sparring partner for both our clients and our internal teams.
You listen to what a client wants to achieve, ask the right questions and translate business and communication objectives into a clear digital approach.
That might start with a new website or webshop built by our developers. But it doesn't stop there. How do we get the right people to that website? How do we make sure a brand gets found in Google and on AI platforms? Which campaigns do we run? What do we measure? What do we learn from it? And most importantly: what do we improve next?
You look at the bigger digital picture and bring the right expertise together. Strategy, content, design, development, performance and marketing: you make sure everyone knows what we're working towards and why.
Your knowledge of digital goes beyond presentations. You understand how websites work, the impact of SEO, SEA and GEO, and how to analyse a dashboard from the client’s perspective. But you're just as willing to roll up your sleeves and help set up, adjust and optimise campaigns yourself.
You don't need to be the top specialist in every discipline. You do need to know and understand enough to get hands-on, make strong choices and challenge our specialists on the substance.
What will you do?
- You're the main point of contact for your clients and build strong, long-term relationships with them.
- You think along with their digital challenges and translate them into a concrete strategy, roadmap and measurable KPIs.
- You manage digital projects from A to Z: from websites and webshops to campaigns, lead generation, email marketing and optimisation projects.
- You work closely with strategists, designers, copywriters, developers and performance marketers.
- You keep an eye on timing, budget, scope and quality without losing sight of the objective.
- You track results through data, analysis and reporting and make them understandable for the client.
- You look beyond the report itself: you turn numbers into insights, propose optimisations and work with the team on the next step.
- You spot opportunities with clients and aren't afraid to put them on the table.
Who are we looking for?
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in account management, digital marketing or a similar role.
More importantly, you're good with people. You understand clients, sense what they need and communicate just as easily with a marketing manager as with a developer or performance specialist.
You also have a broad digital foundation. You don't need to be a specialist in everything, but you know enough to ask the right questions, make decisions, get hands-on yourself and challenge specialists.
More specifically:
- You understand websites and webshops. You don't need to build them yourself, but you understand how web development works, what good UX means and preferably have experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal.
- You know digital marketing. SEO, SEA, GEO, social advertising, email marketing, lead generation: you understand what the different disciplines can do and how they work together.
- You think about discoverability today and tomorrow. Google remains important, but you also follow how AI platforms are changing the way people search, find information and discover brands.
- You're comfortable with data. KPIs, analytics, conversion and dashboards mean something to you. More importantly, you turn numbers into insights, actions and better results.
- You bring structure. Managing different clients, projects, deadlines and specialists at the same time doesn't scare you.
- You use AI with good judgement. Not to outsource your thinking, but to research faster, work more efficiently and achieve better results. AI is a tool. Your own judgement stays in the driver's seat.
- You think commercially. You understand what a client needs today and see where we can create additional value tomorrow.
- You get energy from different clients and challenges. You can switch between strategy and exec
