We're looking for a senior Test Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated tests with Java and Selenium (v4+) in agile development teams.
What you'll do
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Run API, integration, regression and end-to-end tests.
- Analyse, document and report test results.
- Manage test data and test environments.
- Improve testing processes with developers, business analysts and stakeholders.
What you bring
- At least three years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
- Agile Testing, structured test methods and the full testing process.
- Knowledge of ISTQB, TMap, STBox or equivalent frameworks.
- TDD, ATDD, BDD, Exploratory Testing and Session-Based Testing.
- Selenium (v4+), Cucumber / Gherkin, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman and Swagger.
- Jira, Confluence, Xray, Git / GitLab, Maven and TestNG or JUnit.
- Java, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- SQL, test data management, XPath, CSS Selectors and Regular Expressions.
- Basic Angular knowledge in a testing context.
- Stakeholder management, critical thinking and independent, proactive teamwork.
- Ability to challenge existing solutions constructively and suggest alternatives.
- Dutch or French, C1.
- English, C1.
Nice to have
- OO architecture knowledge.
- Public-sector experience.
- Agile Scrum knowledge and experience as a Scrum Master.
- Experience in large, complex organisations.
- Fluency in both Dutch and French.
