Working independently during the night shift, you combine front office service with administrative precision and attention to detail, reflecting the discretion and professionalism expected of a luxury hotel.

- Welcome and check in/out guests arriving or departing overnight, delivering warm, professional, and discreet service.
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns throughout the night, resolving issues promptly or escalating as needed.
- Handle late reservations, walk-ins, and room changes, updating the PMS accordingly.
- Act as the main point of contact for guests overnight, including for emergencies or security concerns.
Night Audit and Financial Closing
- Perform the daily night audit process, reconciling room revenue, F&B charges, and other hotel transactions.
- Balance cash, card, and billing transactions from the day, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports (occupancy, revenue, audit summary) for management and relevant departments.
- Post room charges and process end-of-day financial close in the PMS.

Meeting Room and Event Space Set-Up
- Prepare and set up meeting rooms overnight according to event orders/function sheets, ensuring rooms are ready ahead of morning arrivals.
- Check that furniture, equipment, and AV setups are correctly arranged and in working order.
- Conduct a final walkthrough of meeting spaces before shift end to confirm everything is in order and ready for use.
- Report any issues, damages, or missing equipment to the relevant department.
Property and Safety Checks
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of public areas, guest floors, and grounds overnight to ensure safety, security, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Monitor fire safety and security systems, responding appropriately to alarms or incidents.
- Ensure the front desk, lobby, and public areas are clean, tidy, and guest-ready at all times.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or security issues to the appropriate department.
Administration and Handover
- Maintain accurate guest records and respect confidentiality at all times.
- Prepare wake-up calls, early check-out arrangements, and next-day arrival lists.
- Communicate clearly with the morning Front Office team, ensuring a smooth handover of ongoing guest requests or issues.
- Support other overnight administrative tasks as required by the Front Office Manager.
