As a Data Analytics Engineer at The Data Forest, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business impact, with a strong focus on data warehousing, data modelling, and scalable BI solutions.
We’re looking for someone who
- Holds aMaster’s degreein Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Has 3-5years hands-on experience in data warehousing, data modelling and business intelligence
- Is proficient withBI tools(Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Excels atdata storytelling and visualization
- Can build data models followingKimballmethodology
- Communicates fluently inEnglish and Dutch
- Brings adriven mindsetand a passion forcreating a sustainable future
Your day-to-day includes
- Design and implement data warehouses: from conceptual modelling to production-ready environments
- Model data smartly: develop star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalized models
- Advise on BI architecture: guide on the optimal platforms and tools
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines: ensure reliable, scalable, and clean data flows
- Communicate insights effectively: share findings with both technical and business stakeholders
