Minimum Profile Required

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related scientific or engineering discipline (such as computer science/engineering, information systems, physics, electronics, etc.) and 3 years post-related experience;
  • Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to those in this Statement of Work.
  • Recent experience as a Project Manager for a large organization focused on the delivery of C4ISR capabilities within the defence sector;
  • At least 2 years direct experience with NATO or a National Ministry of Defense in the delivery of military, CIS, or IT capabilities;
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills.
  • Proficient in the use of in the use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Power-BI for the visualization and communication of project status and milestones.
  • A detailed understanding of the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP).
  • Significant and recent experience in the development of Statements of Work used as the basis for competitive bidding from industry. This includes the detailed development and collection of technical and non-technical project requirements.
  • Language proficiency in English: meet or exceed the NATO STANAG 6001 Level 3 "Professional Proficiency".
  • A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, US DAWIA Program Management Level II, Managing Successful Programmes, Risk Management Professional, Lean Six-Sigma, etc;
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP);
  • Relevant IT certifications such as ITIL 4, Agile PM, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), etc;
  • Certification in the use of MS Project, Power-BI, or other project management/reporting software;
