Portfolio Manager Global Government Bonds

Location: Degroof Petercam Asset Management SA Belgium Rue Guimard 18, 1040 Brussels
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject
- About 4-10 years’ experience in fixed income markets, preferably with a focus on portfolio management
- Technical knowledge of fixed income securities, including but not limited to government bonds and various derivative instruments
- Knowledge of the inflation-linked bond market would be of great value added
- Looking for strong chemistry with the existing staff in a flat hierarchical structure
- Passion for financial markets and in depth / current understanding of macro-economics and fixed income markets. Affinity with (academic) research
- Proven analytical, automation (e.g. Excel VBA, Python) and time management skills
- Eager to continuously learn and attention for detail
- Team player with an entrepreneurial attitude and high ethical standards
- Exhibiting a long-term commitment to excel in the function
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends within fixed income asset management and strong interest in global current affairs
- Openness for some travel is required
