The Technology team at RSC Anderlecht designs and oversees the club’s entire data architecture, forming the digital backbone of the organisation. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will spend at least 10 weeks helping build a data warehouse for the club’s non-sporting data. You will develop data pipelines, structure data according to a medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and perform analyses on the resulting data. You will help develop the project into a fully-fledged product and document your work thoroughly to ensure it remains maintainable and can be handed over effectively. You will work independently under the guidance of experienced members of our team.
REQUIRED PROFILE
You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering or a related field.
You have knowledge of Python, Pandas, PySpark, SQL, Git and REST APIs.
You have experience with a notebook-based data platform.
Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, React or Power BI/Tableau is a plus.
You have strong analytical skills and work accurately.
You work independently, communicate proactively and manage your time effectively.
You are fluent in English and speak Dutch or French fluently.
