For a growing, internationally active company in home maintenance, repairs and energy solutions for households, Schelstraete Delacourt is looking for a Business Unit Manager HVAC.
The Business Unit Manager takes full ownership of a local entity in the Wallonia region, reporting directly to the COO.
The role focuses on driving commercial growth by developing the prescriber market, alongside transforming the organisation into a future-proof operation. With the autonomy of a scale‑up and the backing of an international group, the Business Unit Manager sets the strategic direction of the unit independently.
The Business Unit Manager is responsible for:
- Define and execute the local commercial strategy, with a clear focus on developing the prescriber channel, alongside the existing residential base.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across customer segments and geographies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, partners and prescribers.
- Drive commercial performance through data‑driven decision‑making and continuous optimisation of sales activities.
Operational leadership
- Take full P&L responsibility and translate strategic priorities into concrete operational execution.
- Lead and develop a team, fostering accountability, collaboration and a results‑driven culture.
- Implement new technologies and modernise internal processes to support efficient, scalable growth.
- Ensure strong alignment between commercial, operational and support functions.
Profile:
- You have at least 8 years of experience in a commercial or general management role, ideally in a service‑driven or B2C environment.
- You have a proven trackrecord in building and growing commercial channels, including relationships with prescribers, contractors or project developers.
- You combine strategic vision with a hands‑on mentality and a strong drive for results.
- You are an inspiring people leader who can translate ambition into team performance.
- You are comfortable operating with autonomy in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
