Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for a Senior ICT Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement files in a complex and regulated environment. This role involves overseeing the entire sourcing lifecycle for technology solutions while ensuring compliance and driving value for the project.

  • Manage ICT procurement dossiers from intake and market exploration to contract award and follow-up.
  • Optimize and monitor procurement activities within ICT domains focusing on Total Cost of Ownership, quality, and service levels.
  • Ensure strict compliance with public procurement legislation in collaboration with legal and finance departments.
  • Implement procurement strategies and drive continuous improvement within ICT sourcing processes.
  • Negotiate commercial and financial conditions and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
  • Support and challenge internal stakeholders during tender and negotiation trajectories.
  • 8+ years of relevant senior-level experience in procurement within complex or technical environments.
  • You have proven experience in ICT procurement covering hardware, software, services, and licensing.
  • You possess extensive knowledge and practical experience with public procurement legislation and open tenders.
  • You bring a background in managing technical procurement dossiers and complex financial/legal negotiations.
  • You have a Master's degree or an equivalent professional background.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
  • You're proficient in MS Office and have affinity with SAP, Ariba, or Icertis.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English with a good knowledge of French.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working within highly regulated or critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Previous experience using SAP Ariba for tender management.
  • Start date: 21 September 2026.
  • Duration: 3 months (initially until 31/12/2026).
  • Work regime: Full-time.
