Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and complex financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Balance Sheet Control: Perform accurate balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany ledger adjustments.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices strictly align with Belgian GAAP and local regulatory standards.
Audit & Internal Control: Serve as a key contact for external auditors and continuously improve internal accounting processes.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a comprehensive corporate accounting role or as an Accounting Specialist.
System Expertise: Hands-on, practical experience working with SAP is mandatory.
Legal Knowledge: In-depth, thorough knowledge of Belgian accounting rules and regulations (Belgian GAAP).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Languages: Working proficiency in English, combined with strong communication skills in Dutch and French.
Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
