Om onze teams in Brussel tijdelijk te versterken zijn wij op zoek naar een Claims Officer.
Functieomschrijving Je rapporteert aan een Claims Coordinator en maakt deel uit van het departement Legal and Claims Management.
- Je staat in voor het beheer en de analyse van geschillendossiers van/voor onze klanten.
- Je staat in voor de controle en toepassing van de verzekeringsvoorwaarden gekoppeld aan een proactief incassobeleid tegenover debiteuren.
- Je onderzoekt het probleem, trekt de nodige conclusies en formuleert een voorstel tot oplossing.
- Je blijft in constant contact en onderhandelt met verzekerden, debiteuren en makelaars in het beheer van de geschillendossiers. Bovendien stem je met je collega’s de aanpak af. Je staat ook in contact met de andere operationele departementen (verkoop, risico-aanvaarding en polisbeheer) voor het beheer van de geschillendossiers.
- Je zorgt voor de administratieve opvolging van de bestanden in het centrale informaticasysteem.
- Samen met je collega’s sta je desgevallend in voor de uitbouw en opvolging van een wereldwijd netwerk van advocaten en incassobureaus.
- Je hebt een bachelor in de richting financiën & verzekering, buitenlandse handel, recht (of gelijkwaardig).
- Je moedertaal is het Nederlands en je beheerst het Frans en het Engels zowel schriftelijk als mondeling goed. Kennis van een extra taal is een pluspunt.
- Je beschikt eventueel over een eerste werkervaring, bij voorkeur in een incassobureau.
- Je kan analytisch en kritisch denken en kan informatie samenvatten.
- Je bent resultaatgericht en toont initiatief.
- Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden en gaat op een assertieve manier op zoek naar oplossingen.
- Je werkt graag autonoom, maar geeft ook blijk van teamgeest.
