Crop's is een snelgroeiend familiebedrijf, actief in de diepvriessector. De drie autonome Business Units Vegetables, Fruits en Ready Meals realiseren geconsolideerd een omzet van ongeveer €600 miljoen. Crop's focust op private label in de klantensegmenten Retail, Industry, Food Service en Wholesale. Vanuit het HQ in Ooigem (BE) coördineert Crop's wereldwijd productieactiviteiten in België, Frankrijk, Spanje, Portugal, Polen, Servië, Marokko en Costa Rica. Quality Engineer FUNCTIE Je bent hét aanspreekpunt voor onze klanten en vertaalt hun verwachtingen moeiteloos naar heldere kwaliteitsspecificaties. Dankzij jouw nauwgezette opvolging garandeer je dat Crop's hier continu aan voldoet. Klachten? Die pak jij kordaat en oplossingsgericht aan, liefst meteen en – indien nodig – zelfs bij de klant ter plaatse. Je definieert kwaliteitsstandaarden voor onze leveranciers en zorgt ervoor dat ze deze blijven naleven. Je screent en auditeert leveranciers met een kritische blik. Jouw evaluatie is bepalend voor onze inkoopbeslissingen. Je motiveert leveranciers om onze kwaliteitslat hoog te houden. Waar nodig stuur je bij met overtuiging en expertise. Je werkt nauw samen met onze verkoopafdeling om klantgerichtheid en kwaliteit hand in hand te laten gaan. Samen met je collega's zet je voluit in op procesautomatisatie en -optimalisatie. Je bent een sleutelfiguur binnen de business unit Fruits én een actief lid van de kwaliteitsdienst van Crop's. Je rapporteert aan zowel de General Manager Fruits als de Quality Director. PROFIEL Je genoot een hogere opleiding, bij voorkeur bio-ingenieur, aangevuld met 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen de voedingssector. Je koppelt jouw technische bagage aan een stipte en nauwkeurige administratie. Je kan zelfstandig werken; pakt zaken op een pragmatische manier aan en speelt kort op de bal. Je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Engels, Frans en Nederlands. Je bent bereid om sporadisch naar het buitenland te reizen. Je bent op zoek naar een groeicontext waarin je zelf impact kan hebben door in te zetten op verder optimalisatie van processen en workflows. Een grote affiniteit met IT komt hier goed van pas.
