In deze cruciale functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het infrastructuurbeheer, de monitoring en de security hardening van complexe netwerksystemen. Je ontwerpt en implementeert passende en innoverende oplossingen, coördineert projecten en zorgt voor de continue evolutie van de technische infrastructuur. Discretie en verantwoordelijkheidszin zijn essentieel in deze rol nabij Brussel-Noord. LocatieBrussel-Noord (100% On-Site) Ervaring10+ jaar ervaring OpleidingHBO/Bachelor in ICT of gelijkwaardig door ervaring Start date: 01/03/2026 Jouw Taken Ontwerpen en implementeren van passende en innoverende oplossingen voor de technische infrastructuur. Bijdragen aan het operationeel systeembeheer om de continuïteit van de dienst te verzekeren. Coördineren van activiteiten voor een optimale uitvoering van infrastructuurprojecten. Opvolgen en doen evolueren van de technische infrastructuur. Definiëren, opstellen en implementeren van documentatie en procedures inzake technische infrastructuur (optimaal beheer en onderhoud). Deelnemen aan de kennisopbouw van het team en actief kennis overdragen. Toepassen van de regels inzake informatieveiligheid. Leiden van projecten, adviseren over best practices en mentoren van junior engineers. Samenwerken met andere teams om de DevOps-processen te optimaliseren. Jouw Profiel Ervaring die je meebrengt (10+ jaar in netwerken): Minstens 10 jaar ervaring als Network Engineer. Goede kennis van zowel Microsoft Windows als Linux omgevingen. Goede kennis van storage en cybersecurity. Ervaring met auditing en hardening van netwerkcomponenten (IDPS systemen is een pluspunt). Goede kennis van virtualisatie (VMware). Kennis van containertechnologie (Docker, Podman) is een pluspunt. Essentiële Technologieën: Netwerkarchitectuur, firewall rules, routing & switching, VPN, IPAM en NAC. Bedreven met monitoringtools en loganalyse (ELK Stack). Ervaring met het (automatisch) onderhouden van een up-to-date inventory. Sterk in het diagnosticeren van complexe systeemproblemen, performancetuning en het implementeren van high-availability oplossingen. Kennis van DevOps principes en werkmethodes en de netwerkimpact hierin verwerken. Kennis van IT Service Management (ITILv4 Foundation). Vaardigheden die je hebt: Je bent een uitstekende communicator, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk (Nederlands of Frans als hoofdtaal, met basiskennis van de andere taal en Engels). Je bent een teamspeler die ook sterk individueel kan werken. Je bent resultaatgericht en hebt een hoge verantwoordelijkheidszin. Je bent klantgericht met sterke interpersoonlijke vaardigheden. Je hebt ervaring met het leiden van teams en het coachen van medewerkers (5+ jaar). Je inspireert collega's en draagt actief kennis over. Je bezit de Belgische nationaliteit. Je bent discreet over je werk en gaat akkoord met het verkrijgen van een veiligheidsmachtiging "Zeer Geheim". Je bent leergierig en blijft op de hoogte van trends (Agile/Scrum, ZeroTrust, etc.).
