For our client, an international high-tech industrial group active in research, defense & security, we are looking for a Bid Manager with full ownership of product COGS, pricing and margins. This role is explicitly focused on the manufacturing of physical electronocial products and components. It is not suited for EPC, plant engineering, project-based or service-driven bid environments. You will decide whether bids are economically viable in a context of very long, highly complex product BOMs and recurring production. Your Role Own commercial and financial decisions from bid/no-bid to contract award for product-based offers Build and validate production cost models for manufactured parts and assemblies, based on long and complex BOMs Define target margins, pricing logic and negotiation limits for repeatable, high volume manufacturing products, , where small cost deviations have significant margin impact. Challenge Sales, Engineering and Operations when production or BOM assumptions are not financially sustainable Lead financial risk reviews and ensure cost and margin assumptions remain valid beyond contract award What we are looking for Proven experience owning COGS, pricing and margins for manufactured products (not EPC or project-based solutions) Hands-on work with very long and complex BOM structures in serial or small-series production environments Background in production-oriented industries such as electronics, optics, defense, aerospace components, industrial equipment or precision manufacturing Demonstrated authority to challenge senior stakeholders and recommend no-bid decisions for margin reasons Strong financial and analytical mindset combined with solid manufacturing understanding Fluent English, Dutch is Plus but not required Your Benefits Target total compensation: 85.000 – 93.000€ (base + variable) A key commercial role with real impact on profitability and strategic decision-making in a fast growing high-tech company Close interaction with senior management, including Finance and Sales leadership A high-tech, engineering-driven environment with complex products and long-term projects Long-term development opportunities within a global industrial group Ready for your next step?
