Onze klant is een toonaangevende internationale speler met een productiesite in West-Vlaanderen. In deze no-nonsense, hands-on omgeving werken ruim 180 collega's samen aan hoogwaardige producten voor diverse markten. De site is flexibel, klantgericht en maakt deel uit van een grotere divisiestructuur met zusterbedrijven in verschillende Europese landen. Ter versterking van het managementteam zoeken we een Quality Manager die kwaliteit, certificatie en continue verbetering aanstuurt. Functieomschrijving Als Quality Manager ben jij het gezicht van kwaliteit en continue verbetering. Jij zorgt dat producten niet alleen voldoen aan de strengste normen, maar ook dat processen slimmer, veiliger en efficiënter worden. Je bent lid van het managementteam en schakelt dagelijks tussen strategie en operatie, tussen het labo en de productielijnen. Wat maakt deze rol uniek? Je neemt het voortouw in de coördinatie van dagelijkse werking, verbetering en transitie: nieuwe leveranciers, nieuwe certificaties, nieuwe testprocedures. Jij zorgt dat alles klopt – van brandtesten tot ISO-audits – zodat producten tijdig en conform naar de markt kunnen. Je maakt het verschil door structuur, prioriteiten en communicatie scherp te zetten. Dit ga je doen Leiderschap met impact : Je stuurt een ervaren laboteam aan, geeft richting en creëert duidelijkheid. Je zorgt dat testen niet alleen gebeuren, maar ook volgens plan en prioriteit. Kwaliteit als fundament : Jij bent eindverantwoordelijke voor ISO, audits, klachtenbeheer en alle kwaliteitsdocumentatie. Je bewaakt normen en zorgt dat certificaten tijdig vernieuwd worden. Procesverbetering : Je brengt orde in systemen en processen, zet KPI's op en zorgt dat afwijkingen snel worden gecorrigeerd. Innovatie in samenwerking : Je vormt de schakel tussen productie, customer service, R&D, sales en de divisie. Je deelt best practices en tilt de site naar 'best in group'. Continuous Improvement : Je leidt projecten die veiligheid, kwaliteit en kostenoptimalisatie combineren. Je daagt de supply chain uit en zoekt voortdurend naar verbeterkansen. Je bent niet alleen een kwaliteitsbewaker, maar ook een change agent. Jij maakt het verschil op de werkvloer én aan de vergadertafel. Profiel Een master of bachelor in chemie of met interesse/ervaring in chemische processen. Technisch inzicht in productieprocessen en ervaring met ISO, audits en CI-methodieken. Stevig project management en sterke communicatieve skills, zowel in het Nederlands, Frans als Engels. Je geeft feedback, stelt prioriteiten en zorgt dat iedereen weet waar hij aan toe is. Hands-on mentaliteit en analytische kracht: je ziet details, maar verliest het grotere plaatje niet. Je geeft sturing aan een team dat autonoom werkt, maar bent bereikbaar en snel bereid om bij te springen. Je zet 200% in op samenwerking. Je bent flexibel om 1 weekend op 7 de weekendploeg te bezoeken (ongeveer 2 uur per keer aanwezig op de site). Aanbod Een sleutelpositie met impact en autonomie.
