We also are an official Shopify Theme Store Partner , with top-selling themes used by merchants globally. We operate at a high standard — and we’re looking for someone who does too. We’re currently hiring a Development Team Lead who can drive execution, raise the bar on quality, and lead a team with clarity and accountability. This role is for the top 3% : someone who combines strong Shopify engineering with real leadership and delivery ownership. Your Role As our Development Team Lead, you will: Lead and manage the development team and ensure consistent delivery Own project execution: scope control, priorities, deadlines, and release planning Create a clear workflow between Development, QA, and Project Management Identify blockers early and solve them fast (or escalate clearly) Maintain high engineering standards: code reviews, performance, Shopify best practices Coach developers and improve team efficiency and accountability This is a hands-on leadership role where ownership and delivery are non-negotiable. What We’re Looking For You have: 4+ years of experience in Shopify development (themes + custom work) Strong skills in Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS , and the Shopify ecosystem Proven experience leading a team (planning, decision-making, follow-up) Strong communication skills and the ability to align with PMs and stakeholders A structured mindset: tickets, sprints, clear definitions of done The ability to balance speed + quality without chaos Experience with Shopify Plus Performance optimization experience (Core Web Vitals, speed, SEO basics) QA/release management experience Nice to Have Theme architecture experience (scalable, reusable components) What We Offer A high-impact role inside a fast-moving Shopify agency Ownership and the ability to improve processes end-to-end A team that wants to move forward with clear leadership Competitive compensation + growth opportunities Remote / hybrid flexibility (depending on location) Location & Type Remote / hybrid (flexible) Full-time preferred ( interim/freelance is also possible for a fast start) Apply Send us: Your CV or LinkedIn profile A short motivation (max. 5 sentences) Optional: 1–2 Shopify projects you’re proud of
