Dan ben jij de event expert die wij zoeken om het team Events & Hospitality te versterken Jouw uitdaging Als event expert werk je samen met interne of externe klanten evenementen uit voor Port of Antwerp-Bruges, in lijn met de waarden, missie, visie en strategische prioriteiten. Of het nu gaat om een internationale beurs, een B2B netwerkmoment, een personeelsevenement of een actie voor het brede publiek, je doet het allemaal. Samen met je projectgroep ga je aan de slag en organiseer je het evenement van A tot Z. Als event expert lever je een extra inspanning om een geslaagd evenement te realiseren. Je takkenpakket als event expert zit boordevol afwisseling * Je organiseert op frequente basis diverse evenementen en je houdt hierbij steeds rekening met de noden en wensen van de klant * Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de volledige organisatie van het event en staat als eindverantwoordelijke van het evenement garant voor de kwaliteit & tevredenheid bij zowel klanten als genodigden je zorgt voor een gedetailleerd draaiboek, een goede operationele opvolging, je beheert het budget, verzorgt de communicatie met de genodigden, en je bent het aanspreekpunt voor de algemene coördinatie van het evenement en het contact met de klanten en de deelnemers Profiel * Je beschikt over een (bachelor) diploma of je hebt gelijkwaardige ervaring * Je bent proactief en stressbestendig * Je bent bereid tot sporadisch avond- en weekendwerk * Je bent een organisatorische duizendpoot en een echte teamplayer * Je gaat systematisch en procesmatig te werk, maar je bent ook pragmatisch en kan snel inspelen op onvoorziene omstandigheden * Je drukt je vlot uit in 2 talen (Nederlands en Engels) zowel schriftelijk als mondeling. Indien tijdens de selectie blijkt dat de kandidaat over de goede motivatie beschikt, maar nog onvoldoende vaardigheden, kennis en/of ervaring heeft om het volledig takenpakket op te nemen, wordt de kandidaat geworven in een lagere klasse waarbij een concreet groeipad wordt uitgewerkt. De medewerker bekomt dan een salaris in klasse 4. Bij realisatie van dit groeipad, wordt het salaris van een hogere klasse toegekend, zonder dat opnieuw aan een selectie dient te worden deel genomen.
