Currently, we are looking for Chairs based in Belgium for our peer networks of leaders in Finance, Procurement, and other executive functions.

Job Information
As a freelance Chair for EGN Belgium, you will welcome and facilitate confidential peer groups of 20–25 executives, hosting five half-day meetings annually for each group.
Your responsibilities include creating an atmosphere of trust and mutual support, ensuring that members build strong relationships while sharing experiences, lessons learned, and best practices. EGN also serves as a forum for reflection, problem-solving, innovative thinking, and co-creation.

Five Key Competencies: Group Responsibility, Relationship Building, Facilitation, Subject-Matter Expertise, and Organization.

As Chair, your responsibility is to ensure that all meetings are effective, highly relevant, and rewarding for all participants. You should be able to inspire and engage the group while maintaining high energy and commitment. You ensure that members leave meetings with new ideas and actionable takeaways ready to implement in their companies.
In addition to meetings, you will spend significant time on preparation and follow-up, including member dialogues, coordination with hosts, and liaising with potential presenters or experts.

Your Qualifications
Several years of work experience in medium or large Belgian or multinational companies, ideally at Director level
Experience as a freelance consultant, executive coach, workshop facilitator, or change facilitator
Motivation, interest, and availability to chair up to four peer groups across different executive functions
Strong people leadership skills, understanding different personalities, and ensuring engagement and learning within a group
Experience facilitating physical meetings
Proficiency in digital tools such as Teams, Zoom, Jamboard, Mentimeter, etc.

Confident, empathetic, a natural networker and connector
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; Dutch and French are an asset
Structured, well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing administrative tasks and deadlines
