Job Description – Secondary Systems Designer – Low Voltage We are looking for a proactive engineer with strong secondary systems design skills to support projects in high-voltage electrical installations (36–380 kV). You will work on protection, control, automation, and measurement systems, ensuring that designs comply with standards and are implemented successfully on-site. What you will do Assist the project manager during feasibility and preliminary study phases. Develop detailed designs, block diagrams, and principle diagrams for protection and control systems. Participate in equipment selection and ensure compatibility with project requirements and standards. Perform quality checks on internal and external studies and manufacturer documentation. Support factory acceptance tests for electrical equipment. Monitor low-voltage works on-site and coordinate with operators, suppliers, and contractors. Troubleshoot design and implementation issues and participate in technical meetings, testing, and commissioning. Ensure accurate As Built documentation is completed at project closure. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electricity, electronics, or automation. Excellent French and good understanding of Dutch. Proficiency in Windows Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Strong planning, organizational skills, and sense of responsibility. Assertive with a focus on quality, rigor, and precision. Willingness to develop specialized, high-expertise skills in secondary systems. Additional information: Location: Brussels Work regime: 40h/week Start date: 19/01/2026
