Are you an experienced Freelance Senior Platform Engineer who thrives in the ever-changing world of Information Technology? Our client in Brussels is seeking a Senior Application Platform Engineer to join the Application Platform Team. This team plays a critical role in supporting development teams and maintaining the platforms where applications are deployed. You will ensure stability, scalability, and reliability of these platforms while enabling smooth application delivery.
Platform Management: Design, implement, and manage changes to application platforms (Windows Server and AKS).
Maintain software components forming the platforms and document support procedures.
Assist developers and application architects during solution design and implementation through to production.
Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to deployed applications and platform components.
Support and mentor team members on platform technologies.
Propose and implement enhancements to application platforms.
Ability to follow conversations in Dutch and French (mandatory) and fluency in English .
Passion for cloud-native technologies .
Solid understanding of traditional IT and software development principles.
Cloud-Native Workloads: 4+ years managing cloud-native workloads in corporate environments.
Public Cloud: 4+ years managing environments in Azure and/or AWS.
