Sales Development Manager – Lease Revenue Negotiator
The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for driving the company's market presence by promoting its telecom infrastructure and site leasing offerings to the major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in the region. The primary goal is to increase occupancy and lease rates (revenue) on the company's site infrastructure while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
This role involves end-to-end business development ownership, including customer acquisition, contract negotiation, and ongoing account management. The ideal candidate is a commercially driven, customer-focused professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in lease revenue negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote the company's telecom infrastructure and leasing offerings to MNOs in the region.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
- Drive lease revenue growth by negotiating and closing deals with both new and existing clients.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, contract negotiation, and deal closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of lease agreements.
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with MNOs and other key stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and offer creative, value-added solutions.
- Oversee contract management and support clients throughout the leasing lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience.
Market Expansion & Strategy:
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase site occupancy rates.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align business development efforts with strategic goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telecom infrastructure sales or business development.
- Strong knowledge of the Benelux telecom market, particularly in Belgium.
- Proficiency in French, Dutch, and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent lease negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle.
- Market experience in Belgium is required, along with working proficiency in French, Dutch, and English.
