About Next Day
Next Day Sustainable Holdings (NDSH) is an investor and developer committed to building smart, sustainable, and connected homes to reduce the carbon footprint of the real estate sector and achieve a net-zero future. The Next Day Concept & Design (NDCD) department serves as the company’s in-house design and conception studio, integrating a strong digital component (BIM, 3D, Digital Twin) to design and manage innovative residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of NDCD will be responsible for:
Leading and structuring the internal design and conception office (equivalent to a residential design studio with a digital and sustainable specialization), including budget management.
Overseeing and guiding the architectural and urban design of residential and related projects, ensuring the integration of sustainable, intelligent, and aesthetic solutions.
Leading the development and operation of digital tools (BIM, 3D, Digital Twin) to optimize project design, coordination, and management.
Monitoring project execution, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets set by the developer.
Managing, training, and inspiring a multidisciplinary team of architects and designers while maintaining a high level of creativity and quality.
Working closely with the Construction, Innovation, Energy, and Operations departments to ensure coherence in project vision and execution.
Representing the internal architecture office to internal and external stakeholders.
Profile Sought
~ Degree in Architecture and registration with the Order of Architects.
~10 to 15 years of proven experience in residential architecture, ideally with an international and innovative dimension.
~ Strong expertise in the use and management of digital platforms (BIM, Revit, 3D, Digital Twin).
~ Experience in timber, steel, and/or modular 2D and 3D construction.
~ Experience primarily in Wallonia and the Brussels-Capital Region.
~ Demonstrated skills in managing creative and technical teams.
~ Strategic vision and sense of innovation applied to sustainable design.
~ Proven ability to interface with providers of digital technology, green energy, and decarbonization solutions.
~ Excellent communication skills, inspiring leadership, and solution-oriented mindset.
