Wanted: Financial Controller We're looking for a hands-on and ambitious Financial Controller to join our team in Herentals. You'll work closely with our CEO and internal accountant and regularly connect with the CFO of our holding group. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, grow their impact, and help shape the financial backbone of an international scale-up. Whether you have a few years of experience or are looking for your next step after a strong start in finance, your drive and willingness to learn matter most — experience is a plus. Your mission You'll help us bring structure, insight, and transparency into our numbers. From budgets and forecasts to monthly reporting and consolidation, you'll be involved in all key finance processes and gradually take more ownership as you grow. Your responsibilities Financial reporting & consolidation Support the monthly closing process and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Consolidate figures for our Belgian and US entities. Prepare management reporting packs (P&L and balance sheet) including actuals and forecasts. Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure data consistency. Budgeting & forecasting Contribute to annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Track variances and deliver clear insights to management. Build and improve financial models and reporting templates. Business partnering Collaborate with the internal accountant (invoicing and bookkeeping). Work with other departments (Sales, Operations, Engineering) to understand costs and performance. Support the CEO and group CFO with ad-hoc analyses and improvement initiatives. Process improvement Help standardize and automate reporting and consolidation workflows. Identify and implement efficiency gains in financial processes. Your profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics. 1–5 years of relevant experience (e.g. finance, controlling, or accounting). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements (GAAP) ExactOnline and Silverfin experience is a plus. ERP experience (Odoo or similar) is a plus. Fluent in Dutch and English. Curious, proactive, and eager to grow in an international environment.
