Remote Legal Consultant

Remote work is possible in line with the group's and department's internal policy (2 days a week).
As a legal counsel you will act as a true business partner, and you will have the opportunity to interact with people at all levels of the organization as well as with other members of the legal team and external contacts.
You will assist the business in reaching its objectives and in such process ensure compliance with applicable laws and (internal) regulations to minimize legal risks and maximize legal protection.
Drafting and negotiating contracts in close cooperation with the business.
Providing relevant legal training to the business.
You will be part of a legal team of 5 and you'll report to the General Counsel.
You obtained a Master degree in Law in Belgium.
You have at least 3 years of experience as an in-house lawyer in an international environment or as lawyer in one of the leading law firms in Belgium.
You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (spoken and written). Good knowledge of French is considered a plus.
You have excellent contract reviewing and drafting skills.
You are able to translate complex legal matters into comprehensible language within a business community.
