About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Freelance Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and troubleshooting activities within the food and beverage industry. You will ensure smooth operation of production equipment and utilities, minimizing downtime and keeping systems compliant with strict industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical production equipment (conveyors, pumps, packaging lines, refrigeration, etc.). Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to keep production lines running efficiently. Support equipment installation, calibration, and upgrades. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HSE regulations. Provide clear reporting on maintenance activities and suggest improvements for reliability. Requirements: Proven experience as an electromechanical technician, ideally within food, beverage, or other process industries. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, mechanical drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements is a strong plus. Technical degree or equivalent qualification in Electromechanics or related field. Flexible and available for freelance/project-based assignments.
