Data scientist (VDAB) via Vlaanderen connect Je functie in het kort Als regisseur van de arbeidsmarkt heeft VDAB als doelstelling arbeidsmarkt data te verwerken en uit te wisselen. Het ecosysteem van bedrijven, organisaties en actoren waarmee VDAB samenwerkt, wordt daarbij steeds complexer en diverser. Om in dit snel veranderende landschap wendbaar te blijven, is de inzet van slimme systemen op basis van data en artificiële intelligentie essentieel. VDAB is dan ook op zoek naar een nieuwe medewerker die mee kan werken aan de ontwikkeling van algoritmes en modellen die deze evolutie kunnen ondersteunen. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden ● Je vertaalt business problemen naar ML/AI oplossingen ● Je ontwikkelt AI/ML modellen van experiment tot productie ● Je werkt nauw samen met en leert van senior profielen in het team Jouw taken ● Ontwikkelen van AI/ML modellen ● Delen van kennis en inzichten van ontwikkelde modellen ● Doorgedreven data analyse Waar ga je werken Je werkt 1 à 2 dagen in Brussel, op wandelafstand van het station Brussel Noord. Jouw toekomstig team Het team bestaat momenteel uit een 30-tal teamleden, waaronder we de rollen van data scientist, data engineer, devops, en project manager terugvinden. Daarnaast hebben we een Lead Data Scientist die de data scientists aanstuurt, een Lead Data Engineer die de data engineers aanstuurt en een portfolio manager die het AI portfolio beheert en de project managers aanstuurt. Volgende technologieën worden er gebruikt binnen het team: Spark, Python, PyTorch, GIT, ML modellen, statistiek en probabiliteitstheorie Wie ben jij? Jouw technische vaardigheden ● Basiskennis van statistiek/probabiliteitstheorie ● Kennis van Machine Learning Algoritmen ● Ervaring met Python en (Py)Spark ● Ervaring met GIT of andere code repositories ● Ervaring met generatieve AI toepassingen en modellen ● Ervaring met NLP is een pluspunt ● Ervaring met Deep Learning is een pluspunt ● Ervaring met het in productie zetten van ML oplossingen is een pluspunt Vaardigheden ● Je bent een teamplayer ● Je bent resultaatgericht ● Je bent een kritische en oplossingsgerichte denker Jouw voordelen Wat jij van ons mag verwachten Vlaanderen connect biedt een contract van 38 uur voor onbepaalde duur en een competitief salarispakket met: ● Een aantrekkelijke bruto verloning ● Een bonussysteem op basis van vast te leggen doelstellingen ● 28 dagen verlof en extra wettelijke feestdagen (11/07, 02/11 en 15/11). ● Een mobiliteitsbudget ● Maaltijdcheques van 8 euro/dag (eigen bijdrage 1,09 euro/dag)● Een forfaitaire onkostenvergoeding ● Een hospitalisatieverzekering (je kan gezinsleden aansluiten)● Een groepsverzekering ● Een arbeidsongevallenverzekering ● Een opleidingsbudget ● Een laptop ● Een smartphone met abonnementsformule ● Flexibele werkuren ● Thuiswerk Middelen en mogelijkheden tot thuiswerk ● Tegemoetkoming in de kosten van school vakantieopvang
