Learn more at About the Role Our Brussels office is seeking a Mid-Level Associate (2–3 years PQE) to join our EU Chemicals Regulatory Team. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile EU regulatory and litigation matters in a fast-evolving legal landscape. Responsibilities EU chemicals regulatory advice (including REACH, CLP, biocides, and related frameworks) Regulatory strategy and compliance before EU institutions and national authorities Advocacy and litigation before national courts and the EU Courts Monitoring and analysing EU legislative and policy developments Advising on market access, enforcement, and product compliance issues Supporting clients across the EU on complex, cross-border regulatory matters You will be involved in both advisory and contentious work, assisting clients on strategic regulatory projects with significant EU-wide impact. Qualifications Holds 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in EU regulatory law or life sciences/chemicals-related matters Is admitted to an EU Bar Has a strong background in EU law (LL.M. preferred) Has a solid understanding of EU institutions, ideally supported by a traineeship at the European Commission or a similar organisation Required Skills Demonstrates excellent analytical and drafting skills with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach Has an outstanding command of English; French, Italian, or other EU languages are a strong asset Is a collaborative team player with a flexible and committed mindset Is motivated to work on complex, high-profile matters across the EU For more information about the job vacancy, please contact Claudio Mereu or Natalie Konings to discuss the opportunity.
