For a leading international consulting firm, I am looking for a Senior Contract Manager with a keen interest in technology and innovation. Fluent in Dutch with excellent command of English.

Function

You will be part of the Quality and Risk Management team within the Technology and Transformation practice. Working closely with six other team members, you will handle complex legal/contractual issues and provide practical advice. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating various types of contracts (subcontracting, alliances, SOWs, MSAs, SaaS, public tenders...)
Working closely and interacting daily with practitioners on a variety of engagement related and risk management topics (e.g. business risks, proposals, contract templates, GDPR, proposal review…) and providing them with practical and pragmatic advice
Interacting regularly with other team members and mentoring junior team members
Staying up to date with legal and technological developments, e.g. GDPR, SaaS, Cloud, GenAI, DORA, NIS2...
Participating in the development and implementation of trainings (e.g. contract bootcamp, public sector, GDPR...)

Profile

You hold a master’s degree in law and have at least 5 years' experience in advising on, drafting and negotiating legal and (public) technology contracts
You combine strong legal skills with a pragmatic and business-oriented approach
You have developed critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
You are a team player and able to work independently
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You are curious and committed to keeping up to date with the latest legal trends
You are fluent in Dutch and have an excellent command of English, enabling you to draft and negotiate contracts in both languages. French is a plus
