Je bouwt prototypes en proof-of-concepts die bedrijven helpen hun productie te optimaliseren, en tilt zo de industrie van morgen naar een hoger niveau. Wat je doet als Research Engineer Production Optimization Jij bent de schakel tussen onderzoek en praktijk. Met je technische bagage en inzicht in industriële processen vertaal je complexe theorie naar concrete toepassingen op de werkvloer. Concreet ga je: nieuwe technieken en modellen ontwikkelen om productie-efficiëntie te verhogen (met o.a. constraint programming, genetische algoritmes en swarm optimization); proof-of-concepts bouwen voor slimme OEE-toepassingen en meewerken aan innovatieve onderzoeksprojecten; werken met grote datasets om productieprocessen duurzamer en effectiever te maken; nauw samenwerken met IIoT-experts, data engineers, projectleiders en productie-experten. Samen zorgen jullie ervoor dat productiesystemen slimmer, flexibeler en toekomstbestendig worden. Wie jij bent Je hebt een sterke technische basis en een echte passie voor industriële innovatie. Je haalt energie uit het zoeken naar oplossingen, en uit het samenwerken met anderen. Wat we belangrijk vinden: Ervaring met constraint programming, genetische algoritmes of swarm optimization Kennis van OEE tracking software, toegepaste statistiek en regressietechnieken Minstens 5 jaar ervaring in de industrie of een PhD in een relevant domein Vlotte communicatie in het Engels Conceptueel en analytisch denkvermogen Ondernemende mindset en leergierige houding Diploma: Master of PhD in Engineering, IT, Wiskunde of een verwant domein.
