Are you ready to play a key role in an Agile transformation within one of Belgium's largest digital banking environments? Join a multi-disciplinary product team driving end-to-end development of cutting-edge digital channels (web & mobile) for enterprise customers. We're looking for a Senior React Developer who can elevate the team's engineering standards and contribute to long-term success. What You'll Do As part of an Agile squad, you will be responsible for both Dev and Ops activities and will work across the full product lifecycle. Your responsibilities include: Translating functional requirements into clean, high-quality code Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance applications Leading development on the front-end (React) — core part of the role Contributing to back-end (Java, Spring) components when needed Working with APIs and external data sources Ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness Applying clean code principles and development best practices Identifying performance bottlenecks and fixing bugs Collaborating closely with cross-functional team members Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across the squad Mandatory Technical Skills Deep understanding of core JavaScript Proven expertise in React Strong experience with Git Hands-on experience with Jest and React Testing Library Clean Code principles (SOLID, design patterns) Practical experience with TDD Willingness to pair program A true Software Craftsperson mindset Nice to Have Java, Spring, Maven Database experience Experience in cloud-based environments You thrive in a cross-functional Agile squad where: Knowledge sharing is natural Team success outweighs individual heroics Feedback is embraced as part of continuous improvement You occasionally step outside your primary role to help the team reach sprint goals
