• Conducting searches and investigations relating to clients and their associates as well as business partners.
• Organising and conducting monitoring activities of higher-risk transactions ( analysis of “hits”, concluding on cases, etc.) using specific IT tools (client database screening, transaction monitoring, payment filtering, etc.) to ensure AML/market abuse compliance.
• Overseeing the process in place for regularly updating KYC business relationship information by relationship managers, using a risk-based approach.
• Conducting periodic reviews for existing clients.
• Identifying higher risk situations to be escalated to the 2nd line of defence teams.
• Providing counsel and assistance to Front teams related to AML/market abuse topics, as well as collaborating with the 2nd line of defence teams.As a graduate, you will work in a compliance environment under the mentorship of your peers, rotating both within the PWM Business Risk and Compliance community but also within other relevant departments of the Bank to give you a good overview of the full value chain. At the end of the programme you will be ready to take full ownership of a position as Business Compliance Manager.Your profile• University degree with a demonstrable interest in compliance and AML matters.
• Maximum of 2 years’ experience in a similar function with a bank or financial-sector professional, or in an audit function (internal/external) dealing with AML.
• Qualities such as curiosity, a desire to learn, humility, analytical skills and teamwork are valued. A pragmatic and down-to-earth mindset is essential to thrive in our diverse environment.
• Fluent in French, English and German; any additional European language would be a plus.
• Willingness to pass appropriate certifications ( CAMS). Start date: 1 September or 1 October 2024
