Design Lead (Strategy & Process Focus) Jij ontwerpt niet alleen het product, maar ook de manier waarop we ontwerpen.
Wij zoeken een senior Design Lead die verder kijkt dan de interface. Waar anderen stoppen bij het opleveren van een design, begin jij pas. Jij bent de strateeg die bepaalt hoe we ontwerpen, waarmee we ontwerpen en hoe we ons team laten groeien. Design Strategy, optimalisatie van het ontwerpproces en de groei (L&D) van onze designers.
Als langetermijnpartner van toonaangevende organisaties koppelen wij de juiste specialisten aan elk project. Door continue opleiding en kennisdeling werken zij op het scherpst van de snee. Wij geloven dat succesvolle producten voortkomen uit een diep begrip van de organisatie en haar doelen.
Als Design Lead ben jij de architect van onze design-volwassenheid. Je bewaakt de brug tussen business strategie en creatieve uitvoering. Je zorgt ervoor dat het team niet alleen hard werkt, maar vooral slim en effectief werkt. Je richt je op het stroomlijnen van workflows (Process), het slim inzetten van mensen en middelen (Resources) en het vertalen van abstracte business doelen naar een heldere designvisie.
40% Design Strategy: Visie bepalen, stakeholder management en het vertalen van roadmaps naar concepten.
~30% People & Craft: Je zit aan tafel met stakeholders en Product Owners om business requirements te vertalen naar een creatieve strategie. Je zorgt dat design vroegtijdig betrokken is en impact maakt op de roadmap.
Optimalisatie Design Proces: Double Diamond, Agile integratie) waardoor het team zich kan focussen op creativiteit in plaats van randzaken.
Resource Management: Je tilt het team naar een hoger niveau. Niet alleen door feedback op designs, maar door het opzetten van een groeipad. Je identificeert kennishiaten in het team en initieert workshops, trainingen of kennissessies.
Hoewel je niet de beheerder bent van het Design System (dat ligt bij het team/ops), bewaak jij wel de consistentie en de toepassing ervan binnen de grotere strategie.
Minimaal 5+ jaar ervaring in Product Design, met een bewezen track record in een leidende rol.
Je hebt diepgaande kennis van design thinking methodieken en weet deze pragmatisch toe te passen in een commerciële omgeving. Je weet hoe je een design proces inricht dat werkt voor mensen, niet alleen voor tools.
Wij zoeken géén Design System Librarian of pure Design Ops manager. De vrijheid om het designlandschap binnen onze organisatie vorm te geven en processen naar jouw hand te zetten.
Een ruim budget voor zowel je eigen ontwikkeling als voor het organiseren van trainingen voor het team.
