We have offices in Australia, India, South Africa, the UK, the EU and the USA. We’re looking for contract Technical Architects with proven senior-level experience to join the Equal Experts network. Our Technical Architects work cross-functionally to understand architecture needs from multiple teams. They are comfortable driving the architecture from inception to completion. This role includes defining and maintaining the structure of the solution, and ensuring it meets the requirements. Helping the team work together in an agile fashion, jointly own the solution, and interface well with other parts of the organisation. This role involves working in teams that use modern agile technical practices - including continuous integration and deployment and fast feedback loops - to deliver timely and pragmatic solutions, as well as helping others to do their jobs in a more effective way. Responsibilities - Leading architecture initiatives from inception to completion. - Collaborating with business users to create architecture aligned with their business needs. - Acting as technical subject matter expert for business users. - Championing adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency. - Producing documentation to aid understanding of existing architecture solutions. - Designing a technology platform that is reactive to change. - Being an agile advocate and helping upskill others. - Getting hands on with the code where necessary. Required Skills - Extensive, diversified experience designing and implementing system architectures. - Exceptional consulting skills. - Experience working on cloud architectures. - Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area. - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. - The ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Knowledge of areas such as cloud architecture, microservices, kafka, K8, security, and Big Data.
