Key Responsibilities Act as Product Owner of the Squad , representing stakeholders and the voice of the customer in line with Scrum methodology Own, define, and continuously prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, customer needs, and strategic objectives Build and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and big picture using agile slicing and iterative delivery Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and lead backlog refinement with the squad Ensure the squad has a shared and clear understanding of priorities , sprint goals, and product consistency Lead iteration planning , define priorities, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of sprint content Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, refinements) Align and manage multiple stakeholders , explaining prioritization decisions and resolving conflicts when needed Motivate the squad, support self-organization, and facilitate problem-solving within the team Ensure product consistency, quality, and alignment throughout delivery Act as decision maker or arbitrator on delivered functionalities Occasionally take on the role of Opus Owner / Project Manager for transactions-related topics Support project follow-up, risk management, and priority management for transaction initiatives Required Experience & Skills Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product/project leadership role Strong expertise in Agile / Scrum methodologies , backlog management, and iterative product delivery Proven experience in Product Management, Stakeholder Management, and Project Management Solid understanding of daily banking products and services Functional understanding of banking systems , ideally covering transactions , both mainframe and distributed environments Strong analytical and conceptual thinking , with the ability to maintain a helicopter view Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills Structured, quality-driven approach with strong attention to detail Leadership mindset with proven team motivation and facilitation capabilities Comfortable working in cross-functional agile teams and contributing beyond role boundaries Agile mindset: proactive, adaptable, learning-oriented, and focused on team success Strong command of English and at least one national language ( French or Dutch ) Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is an advantage Willingness to work in a hybrid model (50% on-site / 50% remote)
