An international leading engineering and construction contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a major data centre project in Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of Europe's flagship hyperscale developments within a dynamic, fast-growing organisation recognised for delivering complex, high-tech facilities across the continent. As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead a team of quantity surveyors and work closely with project management, procurement, and client representatives to ensure successful delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer all commercial and contractual matters across the project. Provide strategic input on procurement, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting. Lead cost planning, value engineering, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Prepare and negotiate variations, claims, and final accounts. Support senior management in project reviews, reporting, and decision-making. Key Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline. Minimum 8+ years' experience in a commercial management role within construction or engineering, ideally on large-scale MEP or data centre projects. Strong contractual knowledge (FIDIC or similar forms). Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience working in an international environment is highly desirable. Ability to work on-site in Belgium on a rotational or permanent basis. What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
