About the Role:

Consol Partners' are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back-End Developer to join their client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end systems, ensuring seamless functionality, security, and performance across the clients web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both technical and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain back-end website applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Implement core business logic and create servers and databases for functionality.
  • Design and develop APIs, ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness.
  • Lead projects as needed, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain code integrity, organization, and write clean, functional code for back-end and possibly front-end applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying areas for improvement in data, processes, and code.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and create scalable software solutions.
  • Write technical documentation and ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
  • Test and fix bugs or other coding issues to ensure optimal performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in back-end development with a focus on Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and Java EE.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in back-end languages and frameworks (Java 8+, Spring, Hibernate).
  • Experience with RDBMS databases (e.g., Oracle) and NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SOAP Web Services, REST APIs, and messaging systems (e.g., JMS, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bamboo) and code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of Java application servers (e.g., WebLogic) and SSL/TLS protocol configuration.
  • Experience with API Gateway configuration (OAuth 2) and OpenID Connect integration.
  • Proficiency in web services testing tools (e.g., SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, Postman).
  • Experience in cloud development with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Soft Skills:

  • Autonomous with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (B1 level); French (B1 level) is a plus.
  • High degree of discretion and integrity, especially when handling sensitive data.

Specific Expertise (Mandatory):

  • Experience in Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and Java EE.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Service Bus, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Apache.
  • Experience with OpenID Connect, SSO, and reverse proxy configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, JMS, and Oracle DB.
  • Knowledge of microservices development, building, and deployment.
