We have an exciting opportunity for an intern to join our Brussels office in March or April for a period of 6 months. The internship will provide you with an insight into the exciting world of Immigration Law. You will undertake real work and become a part of the Fragomen team from day 1.

- Corporate Immigration Services - Strategically advising and supporting our clients - from start-ups to the largest global companies and everything in between - to help them develop and manage their global mobility programmes- Individual Services - Advising and supporting individuals with their immigration needs- Advisory and Compliance Services - helping our clients achieve and maintain compliance with immigration laws- Government Relations Services - representing and advocating on behalf of our clients
About the role:
In this versatile role you will provide legal support in the Brussels office.
Primarily, you will be responsible for supporting senior members of the team with research, onboarding of clients, organizing and participating in client project calls and preparing immigration packages.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring knowledge of client protocols and immigration processes- Ensuring work completed (draft and review documents, filing, archiving, etc) is technically accurate, timely and written communications follow standard layout- Follows firm procedures with respect to file maintenance, record keeping and use of Fragomen IT systems- Assists in the review/improvement of methods/procedures of managing day to day team processes- Assists in communicating with local authorities and embassies/consulates around the world.- Ensuring inbox monitoring during the holiday season
About you:
You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch OR French and demonstrated ability to manage your own time and tasks.
You will also be:
- At ease in a fast-paced environment- Able to work towards deadlines and deal with multiple stakeholders- Have strong attention to detail- Client facing skills are desirable but not essential- Hold a Bachelor or master’s degree preferably specializing in Law or Political Sciences- Knowledge of French would be an asset
