**Internship Position**:
The Internship is available at the **Flight Systems** Team (Systems Department).

The successful Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to harness design in the framework of the ERSA (European Radiation Sensors Array) project destined for the Lunar Deep Space Gateway.
- **Location**:Sint-Stevens-Wolluwe (Brussels Area)
- **Start Date**:At the earliest
- **Duration of the mandatory internship**:4-6 months

**Scope of work**:

- Collecting end-user requirements for the harness design
- Creating and maintaining the harness database
- Create / modify 3D model for harnesses (routing), connectors and backshells
- Identify the tie-down point
- Calculate and implement the minimum bend radius for harness design
- Create and update the harness drawings
- Develop and maintain harness installation procedure by investigating tool accessibility in the assembly.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Solidworks knowledge is an asset, but specific training for the internship tasks will be provided in the beginning
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an asset
- Strength to self-disciplined and work ethic
- Passionate with a problem-solving approach
- Good written and spoken English.
