LRQA is looking for a food safety and health & safety auditors in the Belgium. As an Auditor, you are responsible for conducting and reporting food safety audits based on applicable hygiene code and legislation for a large retailer in Belgium
A position with a lot of flexibility and independence, but with health & safety skills for a new client in the region.
About the position:
You check whether supermarkets comply with hygiene rules / legislation and requirements set by the customer.
You enter into a conversation with the manager
You work independently
You plan your audits yourself a few months in advance.The quantity depends on your availability.
This planning must be carried out within the agreed period. Audit reports must be processed and sent on the day of the audit.
Any corrections in reports must be corrected and updated within 12 hours of the request if requested.
Job requirements:
You are communicative and a pleasant discussion partner; you also know how to hold your own during bad news conversations
You have experience in the supermarket and/or food industry and knowledge of food safety and health & safety
You have experience with inspections
You own a car
You have at least mbo-4 working and thinking level
Good knowledge of Windows / Outlook / Word / Excel and being able to handle equipment (windows tablet)
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch language in word and writing
Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing
Just appearance, representative
