**Senior Associate - M&A and ESG**

**We are now looking to hire a Senior Associate for our ESG Advisory & Transaction Services team in Belgium.**

**Our ESG Advisory & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Team**

Our ESG Advisory & M&A team works with a wide range of leading companies in the financial services sector, such as private equity firms, commercial banks and development institutions; and international corporate clients. The team works on cutting-edge, fast paced projects, supporting clients on transactions (incl. ESG, EHS and technical due diligence cases), as well as various other ESG and Climate Strategy support and advisory projects along the investment cycle.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead consulting engagements across the range of EHS Due Diligence and ESG projects, acting as ERM’s key point of contact with project clients, delivering excellent value and quality service.
- Manage projects effectively through efficient completion of activities, identification of changes or possible changes to scope, time and budget; and minimize project risks following ERM’s risk management process.
- Conduct ESG / EHS site assessments including travelling through Belgium & Netherlands + completing the Due Diligence report.
- Provide leadership, working with project team members closely to complete tasks within project budget and time requirements.
- Contribute to the development, growth and management of a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to more junior consultants.
- Support the growth and development of ERM’s capabilities related to the above described areas by actively collaborating with colleagues across the globe and driving innovation within our practice community to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market.
- Meet business financial targets, project budgets and schedules, client satisfaction and expectations, and internal and contract requirements.

**Who you’ll work with**:
You will be based in one of our offices in Belgium (Brussels or Antwerp) and be part of our ESG Advisory & Transaction Services Team. The team is composed of a diverse and international set of management and technical consultants specialized in Sustainability and ESG.

**What you’ll bring**:
**Requirements**:

- 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting, working on environmental due diligence projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with mínimal supervision.
