**Data Protection Officer (DPO)**

Het Intermutualistisch Agentschap (IMA) is een data-expertisecentrum met een kernteam van 20 personen dat patiëntengegevens van de zeven Belgische ziekenfondsen samenbrengt op één platform. Ze maakt de data toegankelijk voor onderzoek en analyses die tot doel hebben de toegankelijkheid, doelmatigheid en kwaliteit van de Belgische gezondheidszorg te verbeteren. Ze stelt hiervoor open data ter beschikking in de IMA Atlas en begeleidt onderzoekers bij het gebruik van micro-data. Het IMA voert ook zelf analyses uit op de data en werkt mee aan beleidsondersteunend en universitair onderzoek.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de compliance van het IMA als organisatie met de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG). Je adviseert de directie met betrekking tot gegevensbescherming.
- Je vervult de volgende taken:
- de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke of de verwerker, en de werknemers die verwerken, bijstaan, informeren en adviseren over hun verplichtingen m.b.t. de AVG en andere Unierechtelijke of lidstaatrechtelijke gegevensbeschermingsbepalingen;
- toezien op de naleving van de AVG, van andere Unierechtelijke of lidstaatrechtelijke gegevensbeschermingsbepalingen en van het beleid van de verwerkings-verantwoordelijke of de verwerker met betrekking tot de bescherming van persoonsgegevens, met inbegrip van de toewijzing van verantwoordelijkheden, bewustmaking en opleiding van het bij de verwerking betrokken personeel en de betreffende audits;
- advies verstrekken met betrekking tot de gegevensbeschermingseffectbeoordelingen en toezien op de uitvoering daarvan in overeenstemming met artikel 35 van de AVG.
- met de toezichthoudende autoriteit samenwerken;
- optreden als contactpunt voor de toezichthoudende autoriteit inzake met verwerking verband houdende aangelegenheden, met inbegrip van de in artikel 36 van de AVG bedoelde voorafgaande raadpleging, en, waar passend, overleg plegen over enige andere aangelegenheid.
- alle ontwikkelingen in het kader van de European Health Data Space opvolgen, advies geven over nodige acties en deze coördineren.

Je houdt bij de uitvoering van taken rekening met het aan verwerkingen verbonden risico, en met de aard, de omvang, de context en de verwerkingsdoeleinden.

Je onderhoudt permanent je kennis en technieken van gegevensbescherming. Je blijft geïnformeerd over evoluties van het gegevensbeschermingsrecht en informatieveiligheid. Je informeert het management proactief over zowel de bestaande als nieuwe en toekomstige uitdagingen en risico’s.

Je begeleidt betrokken teams bij het opstellen en uitvoeren van een gegevensbeschermingsbeleid, maar bent ook bereid om zelf beleidsvoorbereidende taken op te nemen zoals het uitvoeren van analyses, het ontwerpen van (interne) policies of de opmaak van beleid te coördineren.

Dit ben jij
- Je bent DPO gecertificeerd of bent bereid dit op korte termijn te behalen.
- Je beschikt over een universitair diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Je hebt juridische kennis van de AVG en alle aanverwante wetgeving die een impact heeft op gegevensbescherming.
- Je hebt technische kennis met betrekking tot IT, Information Security en aanverwante domeinen.
- Je gebruikt vlot courante PC-programma’s (bv. MS Office).
- Je kan goed functioneren in een gemengd Frans-Nederlandstalig team. Een perfecte actieve kennis van het Frans of Nederlands en een goede passieve kennis van de andere landstaal en het Engels is een vereiste.
- Je bent leergierig en deinst er niet voor terug kennis op te doen van de werking van de ziekenfondsen, van de IMA-data en IMA-procedures, en van de ontwikkelingen en de wetgeving in verschillende domeinen van de gezondheidszorg en de ziekteverzekering noodzakelijk voor het uitvoeren van de functie.

- Je organiseert, plant, neemt initiatief en pakt de zaken actief aan met het nodige enthousiasme.
- Je hebt interesse in de sector van de publieke gezondheidszorg.
- Je communiceert correct en helder.
