Your team and your responsibilities:
**Team description**
Sustainability and ESG Management Group mission is to improve structurally management and coordination of Toyota Motor Europe’s (TME’s) contribution to society fostering a culture of sustainable development. This group acts as a central hub within the TME organisation to support strategy development and centrally coordinate sustainability and ESG related activities across the company and externally. This group aims at embedding sustainability into all dimensions of Toyota's business, improve positions of Toyota's actions on sustainability, identifying the priorities and engaging all stakeholders for a positive impact.
**Your responsibilities**
- Manage Sustainability related enquiries
- Establish robust process to respond to enquiries from internal sources and external organisations, such as fleet companies, NGO, business partners, National Marketing and Sales Companies etc.
- Define bespoke workflows depending on type of enquiry with a clear definition of a Toyota-wide approval process
- Establish a standard follow-up and tracking process and ensure that NMSCs (National Marketing and Sales Companies) and EMCs (European Manufacturing Companies) are kept up to date.
- Provide clear guidelines and processes for NMSCs and EMCs how to handle enquiries that come in at local level. Design training towards TME teams and NMSC’s and EMC’s to improve understanding.
- Establish repository with questions and answers and ability to track previous replies and their results.
- Set-up and implement process to manage Human Rights and Due Diligence
- Maintain a good understanding of expectations of internal and external stakeholders and how these can be met through the use of tools such as Ecovadis, CDP etc.
- Implement and maintain Ecovadis for TME. Investigate additional implementation at local level.
- Consolidate relevant information and ensure information is complete.
- Liaise with key divisions and markets to ensure tools are adequately used and actions are taken to keep information up to date.
- Ensure measures are put in place to comply with EUDR
- Establish antenna function for latest Human Rights and Sustainability related trends, reports and issues
- Monitor new reports and publications on Human Rights and Sustainability related issues from NGOs, academia and relevant third parties, visualising key messages and trends to the organisation.
- Identify and highlight reports related to or with impact on Toyota.
- Create good understanding of the type of comments/questions most commonly asked to Toyota.
- Assess and visualise Toyota performance on external human rights performance benchmarks (e.g. CHRB)
- Identify actions required to mitigate/improve performance of Toyota on third party publications (Human Rights and Sustainability related matters).
- Establish ‘early warning system’ in case of Toyota related Human Rights issues addressed by third parties.
- Brief management on insights and findings.
- Follow EU legislation on sustainability related items to understand impact on Toyota in Europe and globally.
- Close cooperation with European Governmental Affairs (EGA) to gather insights on legislation.
- Provide feedback to support EGA to draft stance for lobbying activities.
- Brief Management on regulatory impact and consequences
- Support stakeholder engagement (internally and externally) : support stakeholder events (internal and external), by preparation of human rights related content and workshops.

Your Profile:
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- You have a Master’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally in an international company, consultancy, NGO, industry association or similar.
- You have a solid understanding of Sustainability and EU non-financial reporting ESG legislation
- You have a deep understanding of EU regulatory sustainability landscape and trends
- You have an understanding of key relevant stakeholders (NGOs and Think Tanks)
- You have good coordination and project management ‘skills
- You have strong presentation and communication skills
- You demonstrate honesty, transparency, and have a strong sense of integ
