Het garanderen van de brandveiligheid en het beheersen van de brandrisico’s voor de ganse luchthaven site is voor BAC een wettelijke verplichting om de veiligheid van werknemers en passagiers te garanderen. Daarnaast is deze garantie ook van belang om de gebouwen te beschermen en de operationele continuïteit van onze luchthaven te garanderen.

Fire Safety Office (FSO)

Binnen het departement Compliance & Continuity omvat de afdeling Health & Safety enerzijds de Interne Dienst voor Preventie en Bescherming op het Werk alsook het Fire Safety Office.

Het Fire Safety Office is verantwoordelijk voor:

- Het opstellen van de BAC fire safety strategie, beleid en de uniforme manier van werken (richtlijnen, specificaties, materiaalfiches,) gebaseerd op geldende wet
- en regelgeving én specifieke luchthaven eisen, met als doel het garanderen van de legal compliance.
- De implementatie en handhaving van dit BAC fire safety beleid door te fungeren als kenniscentrum en adviesverlener op vlak van fire safety, met als doel de project, asset, technische en operationele compliance te garanderen.
- Het opzetten en aansturen van het risk management en compliance check voor het fire safety domein door monitoring, reporting en risico beheersing, met als doel de blootstelling aan risico’s te mínimaliseren, indien nodig de vereiste mitigerende acties te definiëren en op een continu aantoonbare wijze de operationele en asset compliance te garanderen.

Ter versterking van het departement Compliance & Continuity zoeken we binnen het team van Fire Safety Office naar een Fire Safety Expert ‘Fire Risk & Compliance’.

Jouw vluchtinstructies

Fire Safety Management is een proces doorheen de hele levenscyclus van een gebouw en haar dagdagelijks gebruik.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing, rapportering en opvolging van alle audits en risicoanalyses brandveiligheid van de gebouwen van BAC. Dit omvat zowel de periodieke risicoanalyses in het kader van de opmaak van het wettelijk verplichte brandpreventiedossier (Codex) als specifieke brandveiligheid audits op initiatief van FSO of Asset Management.
- Je bepaalt, in overleg met de FSO-manager, de scope en methodologie van de risicoanalyses en audits, en stuurt de externe uitvoerende partij aan.
- Je analyseert de vaststellingen, registreert deze in het risk managementsysteem en maakt een voorstel op van de vereiste mitigerende maatregelen. Dit kan zowel betrekking hebben op maatregelen over legal compliance, structurele/proces maatregelen of technische/bouwkundige maatregelen. Na validatie en bepaling van de verantwoordelijke stakeholders voor de uitvoering van de mitigerende maatregelen, volg je vanuit FSO de compliance ervan op. Je rapporteert hierover aan de FSO-manager en de Asset & Compliance Safety Board.
- Voor de legal en structurele/proces mitigerende maatregelen zal je als FSO mee de lead nemen in het uitwerken van de systeem oplossingen in samenwerking met de andere betrokken stakeholders. Voor de technisch/bouwkundige mitigerende maatregelen bewaak je voor FSO mee de scope en globale opvolging van deze dossiers in overleg met de verantwoordelijke van de uitvoerende afdeling (stakeholder) en geef intern binnen FSO indien gewenst punctuele ondersteuning aan de FSO-dossierbeheerders.
- Je treedt op als eerste lijn analist bij brand gerelateerde incidenten, hierbij voer je een diepgaande analyse uit, rapporteer je aan de Fire Safety Manager en voert de RETEX[1] follow-up uit. Tijdens de incident analyse werk je hiervoor nauw samen met de MOD (manager on duty). Je registreert de vaststellingen en acties in het risk managementsysteem. Je rapporteert periodiek aan de FSO-manager en de Asset & Compliance Safety Board over de status van alle lopende RETEX van de verlopen incidenten. In het kader van de incidenten brand bewaak je mee de operationele brandmelding en interventie compliance in directe samenwerking met het Emergency Response Center (ERC) en de interne brandweer (FES) (4-ogen principe).
- Bij vaststelling van nieuwe brand gerelateerde risico’s op het luchthaven terrein, sta je in voor het opstellen van een risicoanalyse voor BAC. Indien de risico’s worden aangebracht door derden, bewaak je of de derde partij hun risicoanalyse uitvoert rekening houdend met de impact op de luchthaven operaties bewaakt.
