**Function**:
**The Human Resources Specialist **plays a **key role** in every aspect of the **well-being **of every **BEUC team member** and hence you will have a **variety of responsibilities**:

- You take **ownership** for the ongoing development of innovative **HR policies**:

- You deliver **clear presentations to the team **in order to ensure constant **best practice **for every **HR policy**:

- You are **the go-to-person** for all HR matters for a **team of 58**:

- You are **responsible** for ensuring that Group S (the Payroll Office) receives all necessary **salary data in time**:

- You** manage all recruitment processes from A - Z **involving contacts with the** Line Manager,** jobsites, as well as **interviewing** and offer negotiation
- You are **extensively involved** with both the **onboarding and offboarding processes**:

- You coordinate the whole** yearly employee performance review and career development process**:

- You are in charge of the **training policy **involving topic research, contact with trainers, rollout of the training programme and follow-up
- You** coordinate **the secretary team’s planning.

**Profile**:

- **Minimum 3 **years’ experience in **Soft and Hard Human Resources**:

- Experienced in and with up-to-date knowledge of **Belgian Labour Law**:

- **Very good **English** (written and spoken) **+ EITHER **very good French **OR** very good Dutch (both written and spoken)
- A quick learner with a** proactive and pragmatic **approach, willing and able to take **ownership and make a contribution**:

- An **excellent listener** who always makes **time for people**:

- You are **assertive** but also have **diplomatic** interpersonal skills
- Committed to building **working relationships** based on **trust**:

- Solid **organisational** skills and a **keen eye **for detail enable you to meet **deadlines.**
