**Cell Processing Engineer x2**

**Location: Ghent, Belgium**

**Duration: Two roles available: one running from March to August and the other from April to September, both with an initial duration of 6 months.**

**Hours: 40**

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cell Processing Engineer to drive the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Production System at the Obelisc and TechLane sites. This production system includes:

- Cell Processing Manufacturing Activities
- Supporting Manufacturing Processes (e.g., Media Preparation, Sterilization)
- Logistical Activities (e.g., Logistics Center, WIP)

Close collaboration with cross-functional teams—operations, MSAT, quality assurance, engineering, and external vendors—is critical for ensuring successful operations and quality adherence.

- Operational Readiness/Capacity Ramp-Up
- TLG1 Clinical Submission: January 2025
- Commercial Submission: May 2025

Key Deliverables - Obelisc
- Enhance the robustness of cell processing and release activities.
- Improve the reliability and performance of assets.

**Role and responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including scientific knowledge of cell processing and immunology, the regulatory framework, operational procedures, and the production environment (facilities, utilities, equipment, systems, and processes).
- Develop, review, and approve operational instructions, procedures, and logbooks to ensure alignment with (bio)safety measures and quality standards.
- Act as the Operations SME (Subject Matter Expert), providing input, reviews, and approvals for documentation owned by other departments that impact the Production System.
- Lead and support risk management processes affecting operations.
- Conduct root cause investigations for (bio)safety and quality issues; develop, review, and implement robust CAPA plans.
- Serve as a spokesperson for your area during health care inspections.

A degree or equivalent qualification is required, along with 4-6 years of work experience, and fluency in both Dutch and English is essential.
