De Data Scientist/Wetenschapper is verantwoordelijk voor het toepassen van geavanceerde statistische en machine learning technieken om complexe datasets te analyseren en waardevolle inzichten te extraheren. Ze werken samen met multidisciplinaire teams om voorspellende modellen te ontwikkelen, datagestuurde oplossingen te bouwen en strategische besluitvorming te sturen. De Data Scientist/Wetenschapper speelt een cruciale rol in het benutten van data om bedrijfsproblemen op te lossen, processen te optimaliseren en kansen voor innovatie te ontdekken.

**Verantwoordelijkheden**:

- Data Voorbereiding: Verzamelen, reinigen en voorbewerken van grote datasets om de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van de data voor analyse te waarborgen.
- Verkennende Data Analyse (EDA): Uitvoeren van diepgaande verkennende data-analyse om data distributies, correlaties en patronen te begrijpen.
- Feature Engineering: Ontwikkelen van relevante kenmerken uit ruwe data om de prestaties en voorspellende nauwkeurigheid van modellen te verbeteren.
- Modelontwikkeling: Ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en implementeren van voorspellende modellen met behulp van geavanceerde statistische en machine learning technieken.
- Model Evaluatie: Evalueren van modelprestaties met behulp van geschikte metrics en iteratief modellen verfijnen om nauwkeurigheid en generalisatie te verbeteren.
- Voorspellende Analyse: Toepassen van voorspellende modellering om trends te voorspellen, patronen te identificeren en datagestuurde voorspellingen te maken.
- Data Visualisatie: Creëren van visualisaties om analysebevindingen en inzichten effectief te communiceren aan belanghebbenden.
- Samenwerking: Samenwerken met data engineers, bedrijfsanalisten en domeinexperts om bedrijfsvereisten te begrijpen en te vertalen naar data science oplossingen.
- Implementatie en Integratie: Modellen in productieomgevingen implementeren en integreren in bestaande systemen of processen.
- Voortdurend Leren: Op de hoogte blijven van de laatste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van data science, machine learning en gerelateerde technologieën, en nieuwe methodologieën toepassen waar gepast.

Vereiste Vaardigheden:

- Vaardigheid in programmeertalen zoals Python of R voor data manipulatie, analyse en modellering.
- Sterk begrip van statistische concepten en methodologieën, inclusief hypothese toetsing, regressieanalyse en tijdreeksanalyse.
- Ervaring met machine learning algoritmes en technieken, zoals supervised learning, unsupervised learning en deep learning.
- Kennis van data visualisatie bibliotheken en tools (bijv. Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) om informatieve visualisaties te creëren.
- Bekendheid met data manipulatie en query's met SQL voor relationele databases.
- Ervaring met big data technologieën en frameworks (bijv. Apache Spark, Hadoop) voor het verwerken en analyseren van grootschalige datasets.
- Sterke probleemoplossende vaardigheden en analytisch denkvermogen om complexe data-gerelateerde uitdagingen aan te pakken.
- Uitstekende communicatie
- en storytelling vaardigheden om analysebevindingen en inzichten te presenteren aan zowel technische als niet-technische doelgroepen.
- Vermogen om samen te werken in een teamomgeving en bij te dragen aan interdisciplinaire projecten.
- Aandacht voor detail en toewijding om hoogwaardige, nauwkeurige en bruikbare resultaten te leveren.

Opleiding en Ervaring:
Master
- of doctoraatsdiploma in informatica, statistiek, wiskunde of een verwant veld met een focus op data science of machine learning.
Eerdere ervaring in data science, machine learning of een gerelateerd veld, bij voorkeur in een industrie
- of onderzoeksomgeving.
Aangetoond portfolio van projecten die bekwaamheid tonen in data-analyse, modellering en probleemoplossing.
Certificeringen in data science, machine learning of gerelateerde gebieden zijn een plus.
