Voor onze People and Workplace Tribe bij Telenet, een leider in de telecommunicatie-industrie, zijn we op zoek naar een Data Scientist. Onze tribe werkt binnen een agile kader, waarbij de nadruk ligt op samenwerking om het HR-technologielandschap te optimaliseren en gegevens te benutten voor het verbeteren van de werknemerservaring.

Onze Data Scientist wordt een onderdeel van ons People Analytics, Tools en Projects-team. Je speelt een cruciale rol in het gebruik van geavanceerde analytics, AI en machine learning om bruikbare inzichten te verkrijgen die bijdragen aan het succes van onze People en Workplace initiatieven.

Key Responsibilities

Leid data science projecten binnen het People en Workplace domein, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met business stakeholders en andere professionals. Identificeer en prioritiseer uitdagingen met betrekking tot People Analytics en Workplace-projecten en vertaal deze naar strategische gegevensproblemen met significante implicaties. Geef analytische begeleiding bij strategische besluitvormingsprocessen, waarbij de nadruk ligt op het menselijke aspect van onze werkplekgegevens. Bouw en onderhoud voorspellende modellen met behulp van statistische en machine learning-technieken die specifiek zijn voor People Analytics, zoals het voorspellen van personeelsverloop of het optimaliseren van het budget voor activabeheer. Resultaten communiceren door middel van overtuigende gegevensverhalen en visualisatie, op maat gemaakt voor HR- en werkplekgerelateerde scenario's. Synthetiseer complexe inzichten in bruikbare aanbevelingen die weerklank vinden bij HR- en werkplekgerelateerde stakeholders. Drijf innovatie in data science-technieken, met name die technieken die van toepassing zijn op People Analytics en Workplace-projecten.


Over jou

Master diploma met een focus op data science, informatica, wiskunde, statistiek of economie. Beheersing van ten minste één van de vereiste programmeertalen (SQL, Python, Pyspark) en de bereidheid om andere talen te leren. Ervaring met Cloud (AWS) is een voordeel. Alsook ervaring met Qlik is een grote plus.  Sterk analytisch denkvermogen en gestructureerde probleemoplossende vaardigheden, met ervaring in statistische en machine learning-methoden die relevant zijn voor People Analytics. Pragmatische aanpak, met gebruik van de juiste technieken voor kwaliteit en detail zonder onnodige complexiteit. Ability om zelfstandig projecten op te leveren en tegelijkertijd samen te werken met een team van experts binnen de People and Workplace Tribe. Vaardig in Engels, met voorkeur voor beheersing van de Nederlandse taal.
