Belfius Insurance is een innovatieve verzekeringsmaatschappij met een duidelijke groeistrategie.De afdeling Performance Management, monitoring and technical excellence als missie om de business en het senior management te ondersteunen om de performantie, zowel financieel als operationeel op continue wijze te blijven verbeteren. Deze dienst staat in voor de diepgaande analyses omtrent de actuarieel technische performantie, de diepgaande monitoring van de schades, de analyses rond de operationele efficiency. Dit team werkt in nauw overleg met de Domeinen om hen de input te geven zodat de nodige strategische beslissingen kunnen genomen worden alsook met de customer service afdelingen om hen te voorzien van de adviezen rond operationele performance evoluties.

De dienst bestaat uit 2 teams met ieder hun missies:

- Operationele monitoring en claimscost die diepgaande analyses ondersteunt ter ondersteuning van de operationele afdelingen om hun performantie te verbeteren alsook om tijdige trends rond schade evoluties te detecteren en hierrond de adviezen aan de Domeinen en de Operationele managers te formuleren.
- Technical Performance die de technisch financiële resultaten analyseert, maar vooral de pijnpunten detecteert en hierop diepgaande analyse uitvoert ten einde het senior management te voorzien van de nodige insights om strategische beslissingen te kunnen nemen.

Wat doe je precies als Actuaris strategic Performance:

- Je analyseert de resultaten van de productlijnen in de diepte en je evalueert de evoluties rond pricing (gemiddelde premies), gezondheid portefeuille (frequentie, gemiddelde schadelast, reserveringsimpact).
- Je helpt mee de IFRS17 resultaten te interpreteren en te detecteren waar verdere onderzoeken nodig zijn.
- Je werkt nauw samen met productmanagement en de finance actuaries om bepaalde evoluties te analyseren of in de diepte te gaan bekijken.
- Je werkt mee aan het tot stand komen van de rentabiliteitsplannen en volgt ook actief mee of de acties de nodige resultaten meebrengen.
- Je geeft advies aan het senior management omtrent trends die worden vastgesteld.
- Je streeft ernaar om de actuariële-technische kennis Non Life verder te ontwikkelen en heel specifieke dossiers verder uit te diepen (Bv. Impact inflatie.)

**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**

Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. We zoeken vooral een straffe persoonlijkheid met een learning mindset.

Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als je iemand bent met de volgende eigenschappen en skills:

- Je hebt een diploma in actuariële wetenschappen, natuurkunde, wiskunde, techniek of gelijkwaardig.
- Je hebt meer dan 3 jaar ervaring op het gebied van schadeverzekeringen.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van de schadeverzekeringsmarkt. Kennis van Business of speciale Risico’s is een meerwaarde.
- Je bent kritisch, analytisch, gestructureerd en nieuwsgierig. Je houdt ervan om in de diepte analyses uit te voeren.
- Je bent een teamspeler, maar je kunt ook zelfstandig werken.
- Je bent leergierig en deelt graag je eigen kennis.
- Je houdt van je bevindingen ook uit te leggen en een advies hieromtrent te geven.
- Je vindt het natuurlijk om feedback te geven en te ontvangen.
- Je bent tweetalig (of goed in de andere landstaal).
- Kennis van office tools (excel, word, ppt...) + SAS, R..
