**Functiebeschrijving**
Je vervoegt het dienst Coördinatie van Veterinaire Activiteiten en Veterinaire Epidemiologie (Infectieziekten Dier) en werkt specifiek op het project "AMR Vet Tool": Implementatie van de verzameling en rapportering van gegevens over de verkoop en het gebruik van antimicrobiële middelen bij dieren voor de periode 2022-2027. Dit project, gefinancierd door de Europese Unie en op nationaal niveau ondersteund door het FAGG, beantwoordt aan de eis van de EU-lidstaten om gegevens over het gebruik en de verkoop van diergeneesmiddelen te rapporteren en maakt deel uit van de strijd tegen antimicrobiële resistentie (AMR) op nationaal en Europees niveau. Meer bepaald betreft het de ontwikkeling van een effectief systeem voor de verzameling en communicatie van gegevens via een applicatie, toegankelijk voor belanghebbenden (gezondheidsautoriteiten, gezondheidsinstellingen, groothandelaren, fabrikanten, dierenartsen, apothekers, vertegenwoordigers van veehouders) en het ontwikkelen van een wettelijk kader dat het delen van gegevens mogelijk maakt.
Je belangrijkste taken zijn:
- het identificeren van en vertrouwd raken met de bronnen en databases en de AMR-gerelateerde applicaties, gebruikt in België;
- het opzetten van een relationele database, het identificeren van de soorten gegevens, die ontbreken voor Europese rapportage om het wetgevingskader aan te passen en als basis te dienen voor de ontwikkeling van IT-toepassingen en BI-rapportage;
- een gegevensanalyse uitvoeren en een gegevensbeheersysteem opzetten om te voldoen aan de Europese vereisten op het gebied van gegevenskwaliteit, formaat, validatie en visualisatie;
- bijdragen aan de jaarlijkse Europese rapportage van het project.
**Profiel**
Master in (bio)statistiek, (bio)informatica, bio-ingenieur
Of master in volksgezondheid, epidemiologie, diergeneeskunde, biologie of farmacie met aanvullende training in data science
Affiniteit met diergezondheid en/of volksgezondheid
Ten minste 2 jaar werkervaring in projecten of activiteiten met betrekking tot gegevensbeheer en -manipulatie, bij voorkeur in de context van gezondheidsgegevens
Goede beheersing van relationele databases en SQL-taal
Generieke vaardigheden: analytisch, autonoom, proactief en in staat om in een team te werken, resultaten te leveren, te communiceren met interne en externe projectpartners
Talenkennis: goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels; voldoende kennis van Frans
