**YOUR TASKS**- At least 90% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation.and European projects (CALORIL/SmartSOS/Hiscape/DTF-pinn) on the topic of thermal management of power electronis, batteries en electric motors. In these projects you will develop thermal models (both lumped parameter as CFD based) and you execute thermal experiments.-
- You support short B2B projects within FlandersMake using both models and experiments to develop and test new components on demand of the industrial partners.- **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**- You hold a thesis-based doctorate of electromechanical engineering (obtained max. 5 years ago. This term of 5 years is determined by the date written on the above-mentioned required diploma).-
- You have a strong motivation for conducting scientific research and/or project-based research and services.-
- You have experience in the research field of thermal energy.-
- You have project management skills.-
- You communicate fluently and clearly in English.-
- You have an open personality and willing to contribute to the operations and targets of the team..

**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**- We offer you a contract of indefinite duration with a maximum term of 4 years.-
